Create strong, random passwords instantly. Adjust the length and characters for your needs.

Generate a Password

Choose your options and click "Generate".

How to use the Password Generator

  1. Choose length
Enter a number in Length (recommended 16–24 for a strong password). Longer = harder to crack.
  2. Select character sets
Tick the boxes for Uppercase, Lowercase, Numbers, and Symbols. For a secure password, keep all four enabled.
  3. Generate
Click Generate. A random password appears in the result box. It’s created locally in your browser for privacy.
  4. Copy
Click Copy to place the password on your clipboard, then paste it into your account or password manager.
  5. Repeat if needed
Not happy with the pattern? Click Generate again to get a new strong password instantly.

Quick recipes

  • General accounts: Length 16–20, all character types on.
  • Banking / email: Length 20–24, all types on, avoid reusing anywhere else.
  • Sites that forbid symbols: Length 20+, disable Symbols, keep letters + numbers.

Best practices

  • Use a unique password for every site.
  • Store it in a password manager instead of notes or email.
  • If a site limits length, use the maximum allowed and keep all types enabled.

Troubleshooting

  • “Password won’t accept” — Some sites block certain symbols. Regenerate with Symbols off or try a smaller set of characters.
  • “Too short/long” — Match the site’s length rules; set the exact number in Length and generate again.
  • “Can’t paste” — Some apps block paste. Reveal the password field if possible and type it once, then update the app to allow paste.

Tip: A long random password with mixed characters is stronger than a short one. Regenerate until you’re satisfied, then save it securely.
