Who we are

Website: https://numgenie.com
Trading name: NumGenie
Legal owner: Qodify Ltd
Contact: privacy@numgenie.com
Address: 📍 18A Church Road, Lawrence Hill, Bristol, BS5 9JA

What we collect

  • Usage data (e.g., pages viewed, device/browser type, approximate location, events like button clicks) collected via analytics services.
  • Cookies or similar technologies to remember preferences and, where enabled, measure performance. We minimise cookies by default.
  • Voluntary data that you provide if you contact us (e.g., your email and message).

Calculator inputs are processed in your browser. We do not send your entered numbers to our servers unless a page explicitly states otherwise.

Why we collect it (lawful bases)

  • Analytics & performance (legitimate interests or consent in the EEA/UK): to improve speed, reliability, and content.
  • Communications (legitimate interests/contract): to respond when you contact us.
  • Advertising (consent in the EEA/UK): We do not show ads at present. If we add ads in the future, we will request consent (where required) and update this policy.

Cookies we may use

We aim to keep cookies to a minimum. Depending on your region and consent choices, we may set:

  • _ga, _gid, _ga_* – Google Analytics (aggregate usage statistics; IP anonymization where applicable).
  • ng-consent – NumGenie consent/preferences cookie (functional).
  • Ad cookies (e.g., _gads, IDE) will only be used if we enable ads and after consent in the EEA/UK.

Google services

Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics to understand aggregate usage and improve the site. IP anonymization is enabled where supported. Analytics may be limited or disabled based on your consent. You can opt out via the Google Analytics Opt-out.

Advertising (not currently enabled)

We do not currently display advertising. If we enable ads (e.g., Google AdSense) in the future, Google and partners may use cookies and data to deliver, measure, and improve ads and to detect spam/fraud. In the EEA/UK, ads and ad measurement would run only after you give consent (Consent Mode v2). Learn more: How Google uses information from sites or apps. You can manage ad personalisation at Google Ad Settings.

Your choices

  • Consent banner (if shown): manage or withdraw consent at any time via the banner/link in the footer.
  • Browser controls: block or delete cookies in your browser settings.
  • Ad preferences (if ads are enabled): Google Ad Settings and NAI opt-out.

Your rights

EEA/UK (GDPR): you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability of your personal data, and object to processing where applicable. California (CPRA): you may have rights to know, delete, and opt-out of the “sale”/“sharing” of personal information as defined by CPRA. To exercise rights, contact us at privacy@numgenie.com.

Data retention & security

We retain analytics data per provider defaults and only as long as necessary. We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect data. Our service providers (e.g., Google) may process data on servers outside your country; safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses may apply.

Children

This site is for general audiences and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Third-party links

We may link to external sites that we do not control. Their privacy practices apply on those sites.
